Contract Action Team

What is CAT?

CAT stands for the Contract Action Team—a campus-based, district-wide organizing committee comprised of member activists. CAT members coordinate activities and programs with the Organizing Department to advance the Vision Statement of AFT 1521. CAT is a critical communication structure for our mobilizing efforts to organize and build faculty and student power!

Our Guild endorses the District Academic Senate’s resolution regarding lack of oversight, ongoing workplace harassment, and public corruption alleged at the District. We’re asking you, our colleagues, to sign this petition in support of their resolution for accountability at LACCD. Please share this widely amongst your colleagues, staff, students, and community members.
